What Outward 2 means for Skyrim players
The first Outward became a cult favorite among players who wanted the opposite of Skyrim’s power fantasy: no levels, real survival needs, autosave only, and a world that does not bend around you. Outward Definitive Edition holds a 73% “Mostly Positive” Steam rating Steam.
Outward 2 is launching in Early Access, which means it will be playable but unfinished, with content and systems changing over time. If you want a complete experience today, the original is the safer place to start.
